Amir is an AKC champion and was a WONDERFUL livestock guardian dog. He guarded our alpacas 24 hours a day. He was especially gentle with young cria. Amir was a ROUGH-COAT Anatolian and that coat helped him deal with our harsh Ohio winters! He was born September 11, 2004, and left an indelible mark on our lives. To celebrate his life, Doug has authored a book about this once-in-a-lifetime dog. Learn more here... He was a product of our selective breeding program that focuses on correct confirmation, gentle temperaments and outstanding working abilities.
